Coach Wishon has a Bachelors in Health and Physical Education from Kennesaw State University and a Masters in Health Science from the University of Alabama. Coach Wishon has been teaching for sixteen years and coaching lacrosse and football for fifteen years. In high school, he played football. Coach Wishon has been named the MDJ Lacrosse Coach of the Year four times (2015, 2016, 2021, and 2023), and in 2016, he was named the U.S. Lacrosse Coach of the Year for the Georgia Chapter. He has helped lead the lacrosse team to two state championships (2016 and 2023) winning one of them (2016). He is married to Sarah Wishon, and they have one daughter, Evelyn, age ten, and one son, Mosley, age five.

Coach Wishon looks up to John Hunter and Gary Varner and finds inspiration from Michael Jordan, who said: “Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.”
